Membership
Paid driver membership
All drivers need paid membership, separate from track registration and novice coaching fees. Official pages disagree on the membership term (12 versus 13 months); confirm the term at enrollment. No price is reproduced.
Driver and car requirements
All makes, subject to acceptance
The official schedule describes participation by all makes of sports cars. This is not approval of every vehicle type or modification. Confirm car-specific restrictions, age/license qualifications and required safety equipment with your event.
First-time drivers
Default novice classification
New drivers default to novice. Chin describes an assigned in-car instructor and classroom learning. Experienced newcomers must submit history for solo consideration; experience alone does not automatically qualify them.
Passing and group format
The rules require the lead driver’s passing signal and designated passing zones; Green has no passing in turns. Confirm the format for your event, especially skilled-driver open-track dates.
Booking and cancellations
Enroll, then choose the event
Complete membership enrollment, then use the member login for event registration. Check that your chosen date offers novice instruction and has places available.
Separate charges and cancellation terms
Event and coaching charges are separate from membership. Read the official credit/cancellation policy; COTA and Daytona have separate terms. Membership does not reserve a novice place.
Car inspection
Inspect before arrival
Complete the tech form before arrival and submit it at the track; Chin does not perform the underlying inspection there. The tech page permits mechanically knowledgeable self-inspection, while the FAQ uses narrower mechanic wording. Confirm if unsure; the form is not a safety guarantee.
