Membership
Website account versus paid membership
The event requires a login. Research did not establish a separate annual paid membership requirement; do not treat creating a website account as proof of paid club membership.
Driver and car requirements
Vehicle acceptance
The event excludes trucks, SUVs and vans unless an exception is granted, and requires convertible roll-bar compliance. No explicit all-marque eligibility statement was verified; ask about your car rather than assuming all vehicles qualify.
First-time drivers
Beginner is the first-time group
Beginner is for little or no HPDE experience and requires an instructor. The separately named Novice group assumes prior track days. Beginner passing is on straights with the lead driver’s signal; classification remains subject to review.
Instruction policy discrepancy
The instruction page requires an in-car instructor for Beginners until approved solo; Novices can request limited coaching. Older registration FAQ wording differs. Use the current event’s INSTRUCTED option and confirm support rather than relying on the older FAQ.
Classroom
The fee FAQ includes classroom instruction. Confirm the schedule in the current event packet.
Booking and cancellations
Choose instructed registration
The event provides an INSTRUCTED option for drivers needing in-car coaching and separate solo options requiring approval. Read the linked event’s cancellation/credit terms and registration options before paying.
Car inspection
Pre-event inspection form
The event requires the tech form and recommends shop pre-inspection; annual tech is described for Intermediate/Advanced drivers. It specifies SA2020 or newer helmets and event-specific convertible requirements.
